When and where will the next Hypnosis Workshop be held?
Knitting for Your Soul
March 18 - March 20th, 2011
at the Courtyard Marriott,
Middlebury, Vermont
The word KNIT is a synonym for HEALING
Inspired by Tara Jon Manning's book Mindful Knitting, and the concept of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, the Knitting for Your Soul weekend was created as a time for relaxation, inspiration, and healing from within ...and, of course, knitting. We will explore the parallels between knitting and spiritual awareness, finding ways to bring that sense of being in the present moment to everday life. Just as time spent with our needles contributes to both the experience and expression of that awareness, so can other parts of our daily lives.
Discover the physical sensations of mindfulness in the exercise room or the whirlpool and examine your own kindness and gentleness through color and light within your body.
Explore selflessness by seeing how the work of your hands can enrich the world by participating in a group charity knitting project.
We will begin our days with early morning meditation and end them by the fireplace.
Registration includes:
your own copy of Mindful Knitting from which you will select a project for your level of meditation and skill
beginning meditation and/or beginning knitting instruction
15% discount from Cacklin' Hens Yarn and Bead Emporium for workshop materials
knitting time,in group and on your own
meals and snacks
visits to Cacklin' Hens and Lincoln Peaks Winery

Whether a prolific knitter who is new to mindfulness, or experienced meditator, but new to knitting, you will find the right project to fit your personal goals.
